The short version
- Joining is free. GME will never ask you to pay to apply or to receive opportunities.
- You see the deliverables, deadline, usage and fee before you accept, and you can always say no.
- You keep ownership of your content; brands may use it only as agreed in the brief.
- Paid content must be clearly labelled as advertising, and your opinions must be your own.
This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
01Who these terms apply to
These Creator Network Terms apply when you apply to join, or are a member of, the Global Media Expert creator network. They sit alongside our website Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Each campaign you accept will also have its own brief or agreement. If that campaign document conflicts with these terms, the campaign document applies for that campaign.
02Eligibility
To join the network, each of these must be true.
- You are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
- You own or are authorised to manage every social profile and channel you submit.
- You give accurate information about yourself, your content and your audience.
- You have a genuine audience, with no purchased followers, engagement or views.
03Applying and membership
Joining is free. GME never charges creators a fee to apply, join the network or receive opportunities. If anyone asks you to pay to work with GME, please report it to support@globalmediaexpert.com.
We review applications against current and upcoming campaigns and may accept or decline an application at our discretion. Membership means we may send you suitable opportunities; it does not guarantee any number of campaigns or any level of earnings.
04Opportunities and briefs
Before you commit to a campaign, the opportunity will set out these key details.
- The product, creative direction and exact deliverables.
- Deadlines, the approval process and the number of revisions included.
- Usage rights, usage period and any exclusivity.
- The fee and when it will be paid.
You are always free to decline an opportunity. A campaign is only agreed once you accept the brief in writing.
05Creating content
You create content in your own style and remain responsible for it. When creating campaign content, you agree to these standards.
- It is your original work and does not infringe anyone else's rights, including music, footage and images.
- It reflects your honest opinion and genuine experience of the product. You will never be asked to make false claims.
- It follows the brief, the rules of the platform you publish on and applicable advertising laws.
06Advertising disclosure
Paid and gifted content must be clearly labelled as advertising wherever it is published. Use the platform's paid-partnership tools where available and a clear label such as #ad at the start of the caption.
Disclosure rules differ by country. Examples include the FTC Endorsement Guides in the United States, the CAP Code and CMA guidance in the United Kingdom, and the ASCI influencer guidelines in India. Your brief will highlight any campaign-specific requirements.
07Approval and revisions
Submit content for review before publishing unless the brief says otherwise. Revision requests will be reasonable and limited to what the brief allows. Requests that go beyond the agreed scope, such as new deliverables or a reshoot of an approved concept, will be agreed separately with you first.
08Ownership and usage rights
You keep ownership of the content you create. By accepting a campaign, you grant GME and the brand a licence to use the content only in the ways, channels and for the period set out in the brief. Any paid advertising use, whitelisting or exclusivity is included only if the brief says so, and may be reflected in the fee.
09Fees and payment
- The fee for each campaign is confirmed in writing before you start work.
- Payment is made after the deliverables are approved, within the timeframe stated in the brief.
- We may ask for payout and tax details before the first payment so we can pay you correctly.
- You are responsible for your own taxes, unless the law requires us to deduct or report them.
You can be paid by PayPal, Wise or direct bank transfer. If a campaign is cancelled by the brand after you have started work, we will agree a fair payment for the work completed, as set out in the brief. The Creator FAQ explains payouts and cancellations step by step.
10Conduct and confidentiality
Treat briefs, unreleased products, pricing and campaign details as confidential until they are publicly launched, or until we tell you they can be shared.
We expect members to act professionally with GME and brand teams. Content or conduct that is hateful, deceptive or unlawful, or that would seriously damage a campaign partner's reputation, may lead to removal from a campaign or the network.
11Leaving the network
You can leave the network at any time by emailing support@globalmediaexpert.com. We may end your membership if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken. Obligations for campaigns already accepted, including delivering agreed content, usage rights and payment of fees owed, continue after membership ends.
12Liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither GME nor you is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss arising from network membership. Liability for a specific campaign is set out in that campaign's agreement. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
13Contact the creator team
For questions about membership, a brief or a payment, email support@globalmediaexpert.com. One GME contact will stay with you from brief to payout on each campaign.
